Extra Curricular

Extracurricular sports clubs are important for primary school children because they promote physical health, teamwork and confidence outside the classroom. These clubs give children a chance to stay active, which helps them build strong bodies and healthy habits early on. Playing sports also teaches valuable social skills, such as cooperation, communication and how to handle both winning and losing.

Being part of a club can help children make new friends and feel a sense of belonging, which supports their emotional well-being, plus can be a lifeline for busy parents whilst also contributing to the children’s recommended 60 minutes of exercise a day.

We offer before and after school activity clubs in primary schools of which the chosen clubs can be fully funded by the school or chosen to be funded by the parents, either way we will take care of all aspects of this.

Why have before school clubs?

Before school clubs are beneficial for many reasons including giving children a positive, structured start to the day, helping them wake up fully and get into a good routine. Physical activities or creative games in these clubs can boost energy, improve concentration, and prepare children to focus better in class. They also provide a chance to build friendships, develop social skills, and grow in confidence in a relaxed setting. For working parents, before school clubs offer a safe and reliable option for early drop-offs, reducing stress and helping families manage busy schedules more easily.

Why have after school clubs?

After school sports clubs are great for children because they offer a fun way to stay active and try different types of sports in an engaging and welcoming environment. From football and basketball to gymnastics and dance, these clubs help children discover what they enjoy and will also help to build new skills and further improve developed ones. Playing team sports teaches teamwork and communication, while individual sports like tennis or athletics help build focus and self-discipline. Regular participation also improves fitness, coordination, and confidence.

Why have lunch clubs?

Lunch clubs help to engage the children in more physical activity throughout the day which means they will be able to reduce their energy levels in time for the afternoon lessons. These clubs will also help to eliminate any playground conflicts and create an engaging, social environment for all those who are willing to get involved.
