What Mini All Stars offer?
Mini All Stars offer a wide range of extra curricular clubs which are designed to promote positive impact on children and to get them involved in more sports and find the sport for them! The clubs will operate before and after school time. Everyone is welcome!
How does it work?
The clubs are run by a qualified team which the children will be familiar with as it’s usually their sports coach from school.The coach will have their first aid and safeguarding qualifications as well as their enhanced DBS certification obtained.
The children will be collected from their classrooms or a designated meeting place which would be set up by the school where the teachers would drop them off. A register will be taken before the fun begins. At the end of the session the person who has impressed the coach the most with their attitude and sporting ability will be given the trophy to look after for a week and a certificate to keep.
What your child needs to bring?
- Warm clothing if the weather is cold
- A filled water bottle
- Sports kit appropriate for exercise
- Sun cream if the weather is hot
- No jewellery should be worn
- Long hair should be tied back for the whole session
- Suitable footwear for physical activity they are taking part in
Where is pick up ?
The school will designate a pick-up point where children can be collected at the end of the session. We will inform you of this location before clubs start.
What happens if my child has an accident?
An accident form will be emailed to you immediately following the incident. If an email is not possible, a paper form will be provided. If our coaches feel it’s necessary to contact you regarding the accident, they will call the emergency contact number you have provided.
What if my child has special needs?
We warmly welcome children with special educational needs into our inclusive environment and are dedicated to supporting them in attending our extracurricular clubs.
As every child is unique, we kindly ask that all parents/carers arrange a consultation with us before signing up. This will allow us to better understand their child’s specific needs and determine the best way to support their participation in our club.
